Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of trackfeed.io and related services (the "Service") operated by trackfeed ("trackfeed," "we," "us," or "our").

By creating an account, uploading content, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

trackfeed is a private hub for sharing and discussing unreleased music. Artists can upload tracks, leave timed remarks, follow others, save collections, and message each other. Features may change, and we may add, modify, or discontinue parts of the Service at any time.

The Service is a creative workspace and feedback platform — not a public distribution storefront, streaming catalog, or rights clearance service.

trackfeed is for unreleased music only. You may upload and share tracks that are still in progress, demos, works in progress, or otherwise not commercially released to the public as finished masters.

You must not use the Service to:

• Upload, host, or circulate commercially released songs, albums, or official masters
• Mirror or re-upload music from Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, Bandcamp, SoundCloud (released catalogs), or other public platforms as a substitute for those services
• Use trackfeed as a pirate archive, rip dump, or unauthorized distribution channel

If content is later released elsewhere, you are responsible for removing or updating it on trackfeed as needed to stay compliant with these Terms and any third-party agreements you have.

You retain ownership of the original music and materials you create and upload, subject to the licenses you grant below and any rights of third parties.

You may not upload copyrighted music that you do not have the right to use. That includes full tracks, instrumentals, acapellas, stems, loops, or edited versions of third-party works unless you own the rights or have a valid license / clearance covering your use on trackfeed.

By uploading, you represent and warrant that:

• You own or control all necessary rights in the content (including composition, sound recording, and any featured performances)
• Your upload does not infringe copyright, trademark, publicity, privacy, or other rights
• You have permission from all collaborators, featured artists, and rightsholders whose material appears in the upload

Sampling, chopping, or interpolating material from other tracks — including vocals, acapellas, hooks, ad-libs, drums, melodies, and stems — does not make that material yours.

You may only include vocals or other elements from another track if:

• You created those vocals / elements yourself, or
• You have written permission or a valid license from every rightsholder (including the owner of the sound recording and, where required, the underlying composition), or
• The material is clearly in the public domain or offered under a license that expressly allows your use on the Service

"I flipped it," "it's just a demo," "fair use," or "I'll clear it later" is not enough. Unauthorized use of someone else's vocals or samples can still be copyright infringement even if your beat is original.

If you upload a track that contains uncleared third-party vocals or samples, we may remove it, suspend your account, and/or report the content in response to a valid rights complaint.

You must provide accurate account information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

You must be at least 16 years old (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction) to use the Service.

You agree not to:

• Upload released or copyrighted music you are not authorized to use
• Include uncleared vocals, samples, or stems from other artists' tracks
• Harass, threaten, spam, or abuse other users (including via remarks, feed posts, or messages)
• Scrape, reverse engineer, or overload the Service, or attempt to bypass access controls
• Upload malware, or content that is illegal, sexually exploitative of minors, or otherwise prohibited by law
• Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation with an artist, label, or rightsholder
• Use the Service to commercially redistribute third-party catalogs

When you upload or post content, you grant trackfeed a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, process, reproduce, adapt (for format/transcoding), display, and transmit that content solely to operate, improve, and promote the Service — including generating waveforms, streaming audio to authorized users, and showing your profile/activity as designed.

This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for reasonable residual copies in backups and caches that are purged in the ordinary course, and except for content you shared with others who still have a copy through normal platform features.

We do not claim ownership of your music. We do not sell your tracks as a catalog without a separate written agreement.

Remarks, votes, feed posts, and messages are user-generated opinions and conversation. They are not legal advice, A&R commitments, or clearance decisions. You are solely responsible for how you act on feedback you receive.

We may remove content, restrict features, or suspend/terminate accounts that violate these Terms — especially uploads of released copyrighted music or uncleared vocals/samples.

If you believe content on trackfeed infringes your copyright, contact legal@trackfeed.io with enough detail for us to identify the material and the rights you claim (including your contact information and a good-faith statement of ownership or authorization).

We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect the Service, users, or rightsholders from harm or abuse.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE that uploads will remain available, that feedback will be accurate, or that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

You are solely responsible for clearing samples, vocals, and other third-party material before any commercial release outside trackfeed.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, trackfeed and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or loss of goodwill, arising from your use of the Service or from content uploaded by you or others.

Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amounts you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim, or (b) USD $50, if you have not paid us.

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Provisions that by nature should survive (including ownership representations, licenses for residual copies, disclaimers, and limitations of liability) will survive termination.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the "Last updated" date. If changes are material, we may provide additional notice. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
